Op donderdag 8 mei 2025 vond bij Den Herdgang de workshop “Opruimen doe je zo!” plaats, verzorgd door Brabant Maatjes in samenwerking met Eva Vissers van Waardig Wonen & Afscheid Opruimservice. Dit praktische en emotioneel ondersteunende evenement vormde onderdeel van de Coalitie Tegen Eenzaamheid Tilburg, waarin lokale organisaties de handen ineenslaan om eenzaamheid te bestrijden.
Op pad met Waardig Wonen & Brabant Maatjes
Om 19:00 uur druppelden de deelnemers binnen in de sfeervolle ruimte van Den Herdgang, waar koffie, thee en water klaarstonden als welkom. Na een korte introductie door Eva Vissers gingen de maatjes – ruim 14 aanwezigen – in kleine groepjes aan de slag met het sorteren van persoonlijke spullen en herinneringen, onder begeleiding van de opruimspecialist.

Deelnemers werkten in groepjes om dozen te categoriseren: bewaren, doneren of weggooien. Deze groepsopstelling stimuleerde niet alleen praktische samenwerking, maar gaf ook ruimte om ervaringen en emoties te delen.
Rust in je hoofd
Het fysieke opruimproces werd gekoppeld aan mentale ontspanning. Velen meldden na afloop een opgeruimd gevoel en ervaarden minder gedachtenwerveling, wat bijdroeg aan innerlijke rust.
Samenwerking en praktische tips
Naast emotionele steun leerden de maatjes concrete tips: efficiënt sorteren per ruimte, het hanteren van een voorraadlijst en het toepassen van de “vierdozensmethode” voor besluitvorming.
